** Work and Fun** – Brand visibility workshop Part II

Last Thursday we hold our 3rd Meetup event and 2nd workshop about “Brand Visibility”

Following the success of the first one, this workshop #2 gathered different aficionados who share the same passion about the creative industry and sometimes face to the same issues.

We enjoyed it inside a really nice venue which is the Pacific Coffee – Emporium in Causeway Bay who serve a delicious Iced Mocha with so yummy waffles !

October’s topic was about “Brand visibility‘ and how is so important to any business, whatever you could be a solo-entrepreneur of well-established company. It’s even more important when it comes to the creative industry, to our artists, fashion designers, bloggers and others members of the creative community.

From “what is a brand visibility?” to “how to increase it?” and “how it impact the sales?”, we shared our different visions, experiences and went through different exemples. So, whatever you are called Kim Kardashian, Nike, Apple or Starbucks, we took a look on the different marketing and communication strategies used by those brands. How to tell you story? How to make sure to spread the same message on and off line?

So far we did the test with our participants and ask them to tell their own stories about their different brands and projects.

And we took a closer look at her nice and handmade shoes and how it’s in line with the story behind her brand :

Jasmine gave us a tutorial about Dior’s brand strategy – which was actually been in line with the news of Raf Simmons leaving the House.

Also we welcomed 3 newbies : Pamela – a accessories fashion designer, Nathalie all the way from South Africa who is starting a “healthy-being” blog and Jaydon who recently graduated from HK University of Science and Technology with a major in Marketing and IT.

Franca – a fashion designer – was also here, planning to launch a “vlog” about emerging brands, Gavin a talented designer, Frank an amazing photographer (as you can see from the Home page), Amina and Prassat who “brings the Chinese Contemporary Art to your home”. Looks like we will have many collaborations ahead !

We all had a blast and looking forward to our next workshop and collaborate on different projects together !!!
